Sean qualified as a solicitor in 2009 within a large regional firm and joined John Fowlers in December 2020.
He has extensive experience across a broad range of contentious matters, but his practice focuses on commercial, civil, property and probate litigation. This has involved guiding clients through both County Court and High Court litigation.
Sean prides himself on working closely with clients (both private and commercial) in order to advise them through complex disputes in a clear, practical and strategic way. He is known for his calm, practical approach and for cutting through the noise to focus on what really matters to his clients – whether that’s achieving a commercial outcome or bringing a difficult matter to a sensible conclusion.
Sean enjoys working on cases that require strategic thinking and careful judgment and he values clear communication at every stage of the process. Clients appreciate his straightforward advice and his ability to balance technical points with a pragmatic approach to finding a solution.
Outside the office, Sean lives in Brightlingsea and relaxes by spending time trying to conquer his garden; spend time with his children; practicing amateur boxing; an avid fan of Tottenham Hotspur and consoles their failure to win a trophy by the odd large glass of single malt!
