We are pleased to announce that Benjamin Carver has completed his training contract and today qualifies as a Solicitor within the Firm.

Ben joined John Fowlers in September 2013 as an office junior after completing his Law degree, achieving a Distinction, at Anglia Ruskin University. Ben developed his career and worked within the firms Mental Health, Family and Criminal Departments as a Paralegal whilst completing his LPC before starting his training contract in May 2015 within the firm.

Throughout his training Ben has been heavily involved in residential conveyancing transactions encompassing Freehold and Leasehold Sale and Purchases, Equity Release, Lease Extensions and dealings with Unregistered Land.

During his training Ben has also assisted with many Commercial matters including the Sale and Purchase of Commercial Properties, the Grant Acquisition and Disposal of Leases, Estate Development and Company Share and Asset Sales.

Ben will qualify into our Commercial Real Estate and Company Corporate Departments and will work alongside the Senior Partner, Kim Kennedy and our Partner, Francesca Root.

His current caseload includes the estate development of a Victorian hospital into luxury apartments and a Bona Vacantia purchase working with over 40 Leasehold owners to own the Freehold Title.
The Senior Partner and head of Conveyancing, Kim Kennedy comments:

“One of the great things about the legal professional is the ability of an individual to work their way upwards by a combination of hard work, diligence and ability. Ben is an excellent example of this. He joined the firm as an office junior hoping to persuade the firm to take him on as a trainee solicitor. I have been certain from his earliest time with us that he had the ability to become an extremely capable solicitor and I am delighted that I have been proved right. He now moves on to the next stage of his career as a qualified solicitor and wish him every success for the future and hope he will be with us for many years to come.”
Ben commented on his new role:

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my training at John Fowlers and now look forward to working within a team that forges close bonds with clients based on trust to achieve the client’s wishes beyond their expectations.”
Ben has received positive feedback from both clients and other professionals. Clients have recently commented

“Many thanks for everything Ben; you have made these difficult situations very easy & manageable. You both have been so kind, caring, sympathetic and yet so professional; I hope your employers know what an asset you both are. Thank you again.”
“I would like to thank you and your team for your excellent work in concluding the conveyance so promptly. In particular I would like to thank Ben Carver for all of his efforts and keeping informed of each stage of the transactions. He has been both professional and personable throughout”
