Karen Morovic studied Law at University College London and the College of Law in London and went on to complete a two year training contract in a well-established law firm in the city. This gave Karen a breadth of experience across a range of sectors including banking, European law while working in Brussels, employment and litigation, before qualifying as a solicitor in 2001.
“I always knew I wanted to specialise in employment law. I enjoy the challenges that come with combining commercial business law and the individual employee, helping to find a solution that works for everyone involved.
Upon joining John Fowlers Solicitors in 2007, I introduced an employment law department at the firm. In 2010 I became a partner and today, I am the Human Resources Partner of the firm, responsible for managing the staff at John Fowlers Solicitors as well as handling and overseeing all client work in the employment department.
My practical, hands-on experience in this area of law means I provide clients with quality advice and can give practical and informed recommendations. I am experienced in drafting legal documentation, providing training and acting as a representative at hearings. I have also authored a number of articles published in law journals and deliver educational law seminars in the local community.
Out of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, husband and two boys. I am a keen musician, like to eat out and go to the theatre and cinema when I can. I also like going out for the occasional run to keep fit and healthy.”
