At John Fowlers Solicitors we have a team of collaborative law specialists, qualified in collaborative law in order to conduct these meetings in the right way.
Discussions at the meetings will be open and frank. The initial meeting aims to confirm that those involved will enter into a participation agreement to show that you are committed to reaching a settlement by the collaborative law procedure.
John Fowlers Solicitors have a holistic, caring yet tenacious legal approach which clients find supportive both emotionally and factually. We aim to always provide full explanations as to options and likely outcomes to provide the client with choices in each individual case.
If you think collaborative law will suite your needs, please contact Sheila Crosby at Sheila@johnfowlers.co.uk or call 01206 713900. Sheila is qualified in collaborative law and will be pleased to provide you with more information.
Mediation is a process in which two or more participants involved in a dispute meet with the help of a neutral mediator to help work out a solution to their problem.
It offers a structured yet flexible approach to solving disputes allowing the mediator to explore a range of options and the participants to think “outside the box”. The process is private and without prejudice to any ongoing proceedings in which the participants describe the dispute from their point of view and in their own way and both sides explain how they think the matter can be resolved. The mediator helps focus attention on relevant issues and helps the participants identify a workable solution.
We offer a fast and cost efficient mediation service in relation to all civil disputes which can either take place at our offices in Colchester or elsewhere by agreement.
