Our People - Marisa Brennan - Solicitor

Marisa is a solicitor who has both studied and worked in the East Anglian region. She completed her law degree at the University of Essex and Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London.

Marisa is qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and works in our Family Department. She has been with the firm since qualification in 2005 and practices all areas of family law including, divorce, ancillary relief, residence and contact issues, care proceedings on behalf of parents, injunctions matters and disputes between cohabitants with children. Marisa is a member of Resolution and is applying for Family Law Panel membership.

Marisa is a solicitor with a sunny disposition and re-assuring manner. In keeping with the Resolution code, Marisa aims to settle family disputes in a non-confrontational manner and by putting the best interests of the children first.

Marisa regularly socialises with the Future Lawyers of Colchester - a networking group for newly qualified solicitors – in order to help support the local legal community. She has a keen interest in all outdoor pursuits, including horse-riding and swimming.  She also participates in the annual Race for Life.
