Our People - Kim Kennedy - Senior Partner

Kim qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and practised in Tonbridge, Kent for the next four years.  In 1985 he moved to Colchester and joined this firm (then called John Fowler Oldman and Co).  In 1986 he was made a partner and in 2002 he became the senior partner of John Fowlers.

Kim has always enjoyed being a general practitioner, able to turn his hand to both contentious and non-contentious work.  However, he now spends the majority of his time on commercial, company, conveyancing and related private client work.  As and when the need arises he is an experienced and able criminal practitioner.

Kim is married to Sharon Coomber who is one of the firms consultants.

In their spare time they enjoy travelling, swimming and reading.  Kim has a keen interest in history and archaeology.
